Cutting Edge blog hop!

Paulina of Pretty Pink Posh is doing it again:
Hosting an awesome blog-hop.
This time, the theme is using dies.
I'm just back from two week's holiday, then a rushed few days getting all my "men" back to school. So I'm my card-making muscles are a little out of shape.
Thankfully, dies make a great impact without a lot of work.
I used several dies from Lil'Inker Designs:
  • Stitched rectangle dies for the card border
  • Thanks word die
  • "seriously" word die.
I also used a border die from My Favorite Things.  I bought it second-hand, so not sure of the name.

The card-stock is "Smoothie," a yummy colour from Close to My Heart. The matching washi tape, which forms the upper border, is also CTMH.  I cut the "Thanks" die from some white card-stock, coloured silver with  Ranger Distress Stain in brushed pewter. Gives a nice shimmer.  A few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and Calico Studio finish off this simple card.
Oops!
Almost forgot to include the photo of the inside:
How awesome is that word-die from Lil'Inker? Seriously!
This card is destined for our neighbours, who hosted a seriously awesome barbeque this past weekend. Made me glad I'm not a vegetarian...

Head on over to the PPP blog, to see some of the great entries.  The link closes at 11:59 tonight.
Happy crafting,
Caroline
