Foiled Fox "Trio of Colours" challenge

Hello crafty friends!

I have a cheerful card to share today.
My creative friend Heather Telford suggested I enter it in the Foiled Fox's current challenge, so here goes:
I used the "Doodle Garden" background stamp from Catherine Pooler, heat-set with WOW's "Silver Pearl" embossing powder onto water-colour card-stock.
Next, I wet the panel and dropped Distress inks into the various areas, picking the colour up with a water brush, and adding successive layers of colour. Picked Raspberry, Cracked Pistachio and Wild Honey were the colours used. Further spritzing with water and Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist ensured lots of blending and shine.

The waterfall card designs was inspired by a recent Youtube post by Ingrid Blackburn. You can see a video of the inside elements on my Instagram post @canadianliner.

Enjoy the sunshine and flowers!

Caroline

  3. Hi Caroline,

I was wondering if you were accepting cards for the Caring Hearts Card campaign this year as they have your name on the description blog post. I donated a bunch of cards last year and I have made 100 cards this year and I'm ready to drop them off any time.

If you could let me know if you are accepting cards and when I can drop them off that would be great. Thank you so much!

  4. Hi Christine,
Yes, I am indeed collecting cards again this year, and you are most welcome to drop them off at my address. I am home every week night except Tuesday, and not Friday this week (Oct 25th). But future Fridays are okay :)
