Hello...? Spring? Are you there?

Good morning, crafty friends!
As we prepare for YET MORE SNOW here in Canada's capital today, I thought I'd share some photos from our trip last weekend to the sugar bush (cabane à sucre). The cold spring temps have made it a good year for maple syrup production (at least SOMETHING good comes of all the cold...!).

Everything goes better with maple syrup...

  1. We fell in love with Maple Syrup with french toast & bacon when we lived in the US - I pay an arm & a leg to get the Genuine Canadian syrup here :)

  2. Looks like it was fun!! Been a while since your boys got a chance to go to a sugaring up!! So happy the industry caught a break as they've had a tough few years - one man's drain is another's dream!!
