Quilled It! -- Dynamic Duos Challenge #82

It's a new month, so Dynamic Duos has another Bold & Cheery colour combo for you!
I saw a really cute card recently, with a tree made using quilling. I thought, if you can create a tree, why not a holly leaf? I dug out my supplies and got to work, but the answer is, because it's WAY TOO PUTZY.
So, instead, I present a cute quilled wreath:
The leaf shape is called a Marquise (delicious word!).
I dyed my clear sparkles pink with a Copic marker-that is such a handy feature--and added the pink stitched ribbon bow at the last minute.

So! How does this Bright & Cheery combo grab you?
Head on over to the Dynamic Duos blog for some more inspiration:
Here's the deets on participation--we LOVE to see your work!

  1. Oh, my! This is stunning!! And, after all that work, it better go to someone who will appreciate all your "putzing".

  2. I love this! What a CAS and gorgeous and unique way to create a wreath, wonderful!!!

  3. This came out great..It's so pretty.

  4. I totally love the quilled wreath against the embossed background! You've created a fantastic CAS card.

  5. Wow!! The quilling looks fantastic as a wreath and all of your other details are wonderful as well!

  6. Caroline, I figured by the time I got to comment on your beautiful card that there would be at least 100 comments by now telling how awesome your card is....because it is! :)

  7. Caroline this is gorgeous and worth any putzing involved! Those leaves are amazing (you know how much I love swirls!!) and the combination of the quirky leaves and the PS sentiment just works beautifully!

  8. Adorable! That quilled wreath is gorgeous, and it will be obvious to the recipient that a lot of love went into making the card!

  9. Wow! Just amazing. I have some quilling tools but never even touched them! I can't believe how wonderful this is- it sits so prominently on the white background, and your bow added at the last minute was a great idea!
